KölnTourist | The somewhat different Rhine cruise

Big Cologne harbor tour in summer

We will take you on a little "educational trip" to explore places in Cologne that would normally remain closed to you.

Discover the ports of Cologne during the three-hour boat tour! The tour illuminates the history of the Rheinauhafen, gives insights into the Deutzer Hafen and Mülheimer Hafen and takes you to the container port Niehl I. There the ship cruises between container giants, crane bridges and scrap handling facilities and you experience the port work almost up close. During the cruise, our city guides will tell you interesting facts, anecdotes and all kinds of exciting stories about the ports of Cologne live on board.

Learn everything you need to know e.g. about trade, commerce and stacking rightthe importance of the Rhine and shipping in different epochs, about the architecture or use and capacity, and technology of cranes and "trolleys" .. Our guests are enthusiastic about this extraordinary Rhine tour ... and you will surely be too.
