On 21.12.2023, WDR Lokalzeit Köln broadcast a report on the oldest film footage of the Rhine and the city of Cologne that still exists today. Hermann Rheindorf and his team from Kölnprogramm have lovingly recolored these recordings, which were made at the beginning of the 20th century, and are now making them available for posterity. The photographs provide a rare glimpse of a bygone era.
