Update on Corona hygiene measures on board

On Friday, 20.08.2021 the new corona protection ordinance of the state of North Rhine-Westphalia came into force. This means that there will be some changes if you have booked tickets for one of our rides or would like to ride with us. The rules apply with an incidence value in the city of Cologne above 35:

We generally apply the 3-G principle - vaccinated, recovered or tested:
Vaccinated: You received your full vaccination protection at least 14 days ago.
Recovered: You have recovered from a COVID-19 illness at least 28 days ago, but no more than 6 months ago. If the illness was more than 6 months ago, you must have been vaccinated.
Tested: Certified Corona test must be no older than 48 hours.

Important: For all rides with music, such as the Kölschen Tön zom Fierovend, the Kölschen Frühschoppen, as well as all event rides (barbecue parties, Oktoberfest, New Year's Eve and all rides with show programs) a simple Corona test is not sufficient. Dancing should also be allowed on these rides, unvaccinated and not recovered persons must therefore present a negative PCR test for these rides!

Children and teenagers up to 15 years do not need a test. From the age of 15, the student ID must be shown.

Furthermore, the same rules apply as in the catering industry: Masks (FFP-2 or OP mask) are mandatory on board whenever you are in motion. You may only remove the mask at your own seat. Children up to school age are exempt from this rule.

Please disinfect your hands when boarding and disembarking the ship. Disinfectant will of course be provided.

During the waiting time at the moorings, the distance rule of at least 1.5 meters from other guests applies.

We are still only taking about half of the maximum number of participants, so if possible book your tickets in advance as the available seats are often booked up quickly.

Once on board, follow the instructions of the on-board staff, who will direct the flow of visitors and assign you seats if necessary.

Please observe these rules for the benefit of all and so that we can soon live and celebrate again without restrictions. We look forward to welcoming you on board.
