Relaxing lounge music cruises on the Rhine with DJ Tuco
Relaxation and slowing down - these are two keywords that aptly describe the boat tours offered by KölnTourist Personenschifffahrt. In summer 2025, the family-run company is expanding its program with an evening cruise full of chilled lounge music and good vibes, where guests can truly relax and enjoy the panorama of Cologne. Young DJ Tuco will provide the musical entertainment with smooth beats and cool grooves.
DJ Tuco will provide the right sound on board the KölnTourist ships on four dates. The premiere of this special panorama lounge tour is scheduled for June 6, 2025, followed by further dates on July 4, August 22 and September 5. Two to three one-hour cruises are planned per date, during which guests can enjoy cool drinks and tasty snacks and be enchanted by the Cologne skyline.
KölnTourist Managing Director Michael Schmitz is looking forward to this new series of events. "We started to run the panoramic cruises in the late afternoon and early evening with relaxing background music on our on-board system instead of the traditional explanations of the sights," he explains. "This immediately went down very well with our guests, so we knew that we could do even more with the concept."
Co-Managing Director Angelika Schmitz adds: "At our successful hip-hop event series Floating Bars, we got to know DJ Tuco, who created a great atmosphere here with Latin and Afro beats between the live performances of the other artists. But he also loves lounge music, so he was our first choice to provide musical accompaniment for the cozy panorama lounge cruises."
The planned departure times on 06.06., 04.07., 22.08. and 05.09.2025 are at 17:15, 18:45 and in good weather also at 20:15.
