The KölnTourist family mourns the loss of their dear friend and colleague Klaus-Peter Fischer. He started his last journey on 04.09.2022 completely unexpected for all of us.
For many years he steered our ships MS RheinLand, MS RheinPerle and MS RheinTreue safely across the Rhine and always had an open ear and a helping hand for our guests and his colleagues. His cheerful disposition regularly made us laugh and his calming streak turned even the most stressful situations into pleasant memories.
Even when our Peter retired, he remained with us with his extensive experience. In the last few years he steered the passenger ferry MS Rheinnixe between Bonn and Beuel and continued to help us out whenever there was a need. Due to this sudden loss, the Rheinnixe has to stop its operation for the rest of the year.
We will all miss him sorely. Dear Peter, wherever you are now, we miss you.
